RIDES & EVENTS.

We aim to have a variety of routes, which for the main part will be off road. Using bridleways and country tracks to explore the countryside. The Club caters for riders of all abilities, but most rides will suit the beginner and intermediate mountain biker.

Joining the Club means that you will always be riding with others, so that you don't have plan your own route and go out on your own.

RIDES THIS WEEK

PLease see our new forum at www.rmbc.proboards.com where we will endeavour to post weekly details of upcoming rides.  Hopefully (once people get used to it!) this forum will enable members to organise ad-hoc group rides as well as allowing people to discuss weekly club rides prior to the day, agree on routes, see who's attending etc.  (Well, that's the idea anyway!!)

As a guide though, we're typically out on these days:

Saturday - no more for now - back in the Spring!

Sunday - we usually meet at Sainsburys's car park, Dunchurch Road, Rugby for a  9:30am departure. Rides are typically 20 - 25 miles, with pace to suit those present.

Tuesdays - Indoor Training Session

Lutterworth Cycle Centre have just invested in 15 Watt Bikes to offer indoor training sessions and classes.  Some of us are attending the 'Endurance' class at 7:30pm on Tuesdays - why not come along and try it out?  You can book on www.bikestudio.co.uk - you'll need to register first, but by registering you get one free credit so your first session is free!

CANNOCK UNDER THREAT ??

You may well have read or heard in the news about proposals to sell of large amounts of Forestry Commission land across the country.  These proposals potentially impact a number of trail centres - including Cannock.  A facebook page has been set up to collect names objecting to these proposals - if you'd like to add your name it can be found here:
